Set in a gorgeous rural setting close to the square in Martinborough, the Greater Wellington Brewday is a festival to showcase 15 fantastic craft breweries/distilleries matched with delicious local food and entertainment. An excellent opportunity to meet and ask questions of the many Master Brewers from the region.
Buy a ticket to receive your glass and access to seminars and entertainment then come and purchase 75mL tastes or 225mL glasses of brews from Parrot Dog, Fork and Brewer, Garage Project, Blackdog Brewery, Yeastie Boys, Funk Estate, Kereru Brewing (Wellington); Tuatara, Longbeach (Kapiti), Martinborough Brewery, 50 Knots, Regent 58 and Peak Brewery (Wairarapa). In addition there will be Crooked Cider, Zumwohl, a German-style Schnapps and Hardie Boys alcoholic sodas.
Matched with the delicious beverages, there is a fantastic line up of food being provided by Fork and Brewer, Wakelin House, Peppers Parehua, Big Bad Wolf and Long Beach Café.
Musical entertainment will range from a German Beerhall band to the local Wellington covers band The Noodles. Plus tasting sessions such as Whittakers chocolate and beer matching through to educational seminars provides plenty to do for a fun filled day out.
What a great way to celebrate the end of the long summer days.

Tickets are GA $35 until March 15th (earlybird) then $40.
There will be two tasting sessions you can buy a ticket with Beer and Chocolate tasting OR Beer and Cheese Tasting sessions run by Kieran Hasslett-Moore $45 per ticket.
Tranzmetro and TranzitTours have both put on some transport options with tickets from Wellington return and main places in the Wairarapa return being available to purchase. All tickets have additional service charges.
From 4.30pm, bottles purchased can be taken offsite. Any opened on-site will be confiscated.
R18 event so children must be accompanied by an adult.
