A new role as a Technical Officer has been created on the Brewing Quality Assurance team, reporting into the Quality Brewer based at The Pride Brewery in Auckland on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this role you will be responsible for day to day laboratory testing (Micro, Sensory and Analytical testing) to support Lion NZ Liquid innovation and Lion NZ Craft technical services.

This new and diverse role plays a critical part in supporting Lion as the central Lab support for Liquid development and Craft. For this role you will be required to deliver timely, accurate and reliable results to support product development and Craft quality assurance needs.

The successful applicant for the role will ideally be recent science graduate currently excelling in the product development or brewing industry. Technical laboratory skills across micro and analytical testing would be beneficial for this role, as would a basic level of brewing and beverage industry experience. Your demonstrated collaboration and partnering skills, ability to balance priorities and workload, and demonstrated track record of working autonomously is highly desirable.

A Bachelors level Science degree is required, Chemistry and Microbiology experience would also be advantageous.
