Alcohol Advertising Standards Guidelines 2013

The Guild would like to notify our members of the updated Advertising Guidelines from the ASA, effective January 1, 2013.

Please take a moment to download these here and read them.

Of note is the recommendation for websites:

3(i) Websites that primarily promote an alcohol brand and contain games, competitions or other interactive activities shall have an Age Verification Page at entry. Verification shall be by way of input of the visitor’s date of birth.
