We’re on the hunt for our next Business Development Manager – On Premise to deliver profitable sales growth through an outstanding customer experience for Lion – and we promise, this is a gig which will make you want to jump out of bed in the mornings & get cracking!
Reporting to our On Premise Sales Director and based in Wellington, or the surrounding regions, you will scout the Lower North Island for new business opportunities & secure these deals for Lion. It’s going to take a lot of drive, motivation & most importantly a huge amount of resilience – not every opportunity will come to fruition, that’s the nature of it, but for every setback you could come across an absolute winner!
This role is made for someone who:
• Has the energy & motivation to keep going even when things get tough

• Is curious & hungry for sales growth
• Has the passion for our portfolio and creating epic relationships with new customers.
We need someone with:
• Proven Sales and Negotiation experience and capability
• A strong track record in lead creation
• Experience coaching & mentoring teams & building capability
• Strong relationship building skills from the very first interaction
• Highly developed skills in contract negotiation to ensure mutually beneficial commercial outcomes
• A growth mindset & the resilience to experience, fail & learn
