Packaging Manager - Parrotdog

Parrotdog was conceived in 2011 out of a love for good beer by three guys called Matt. From their rapidly expanding brewery in Lyall Bay, Wellington, they’re continuing to do what they started back then: making approachable, award-winning beer.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about beer to lead our growing packaging team and manage the day-to-day packaging operations.

Duties will include:

• Management of packaging production schedule
• Staff management of packaging team members
• Implementation of staff training plan
• Implementation and management of Health and Safety systems
• Implementation and management of compliance with Food Safety Systems
• Weekly ordering of packaging materials
• Organisation, stocktaking and tidy storage of packaging materials.
• Execution of packaging machine maintenance and management of preventative maintenance schedule.
• Setup and running of packaging line
• Oversee all packaging quality control checks and systems
• Implementation and management of cleaning programme
• Completion of all of all required record keeping.

You must take pride in your workplace and put in the extra effort to keep it clean and tidy.

There will be shift work required.
