Payroll Assistant - Accounts Payable & Receivable - Good George

The Good George Hospitality Group owns a successful Brewery and a number of hospitality venues throughout the Waikato and in Auckland employing over 200 employees. We are looking for a multi-talented superstar to join our Head Office in Frankton. This is a fixed term part-time position from late Feb 2021 until the end of January 2022.
As the title describes if you are successful you will work as part of our Head Office team assisting with completing weekly payroll, internal accounts receivable and accounts payable for our venues and Brewery.
This is a part time position of approximately 20-24 hours per week. Due to demand at various times in the month hours can vary. Ideally you would work on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday but there is flexibility to work shorter hours over more days for the right candidate.
To be awesome at this role.......the skills you will need to have are:
- Experience in payroll and payroll systems (MYOB EXO software or similar)
- Experience using accounting software (ideally Xero or similar)
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Have excellent Excel skills, and
- you will need to have the tolerance of a saint with the problem solving abilities of Einstein!
