As New Zealand's largest hop producer, New Zealand Hops Limited is passionate about supplying brewers with the finest hops and hop products.

We are looking for the newest member to join our team to support continued growth within the business. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the brewing industry and will also be a confident communicator, able to work directly with our existing and new customers to meet their needs.

The role will involve working closely with our Sales Manager and CEO to develop and enhance strategic customer relationships and promote the New Zealand Hop brands. You will also work to ensure brewing partners have secured their hop supply requirements and provide hop related technical support advice as required.

This dynamic position requires a self-starting, motivated person who possesses strong interpersonal skills and has the ability to work within a close-knit team. This is a full-time position that will require some domestic and international travel as required by the company and the role is based in our Appleby (Nelson) office.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Develop grow new and existing relationships.
- Prepare quotes and tenders in accordance with company sales policy
- Provide telephone support, sales assistance.
- Co-ordinate specific sales, marketing and social media projects
- Visit/Travel to customers as required.
- Harvest liaison for growers and customers.

Skills Knowledge Experience:
- Ideally have a background in the beer industry with brewing qualifications or commercial brewing experience seen as an advantage.
- Have an excellent understanding of beer recipe formulation and hop application
- Consultative sales experience
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong motivation and organisational skills
- Computer/MS Office Skills
