This critical business wide role reports to the HR Director and is based at our iconic Waitemata Brewery site in Otahuhu, Auckland where we have been since 1929. We are looking for an experienced H&S Manager with proven track record of success in a production, manufacturing, FMCG or construction environment.

You will be action orientated, have excellent communication and influencing skills, be able to build and maintain relationships at all levels and have a desire to make positive change. Securing this role will give you the opportunity to lead DB’s H&S strategy and improvements nationally using global best practice as we are wholly owned by the HEINEKEN Company.

Capturing the hearts and minds of our business on all things H&S will be essential along with the ability to apply your learning from a relevant qualification in OSH or similar. You won't directly lead people but will need to be a leader in your own right as this role is at the centre of our organisation, so the ability to influence in a complex environment, whilst being an expert in all things H&S will be critical.

In this role you will be responsible for actively engaging the business with the ongoing development and implementation of the DB Health & Safety strategy in line with operational and NZ and Australian legislative requirements.

You will be dealing with all levels of the organisation, across multiple sites nationwide. This includes our head office and biggest brewery in Otahuhu, Auckland, along with four other breweries, a cidery, sales offices, along with our Australian subsidiary business called DRINKWORKS.
