About the role

We currently have a new position available for a Marketing and Sales Manager to join our crew in Christchurch. The position requires an experienced Marketing specialist to work independently on successful business development using marketing to achieve sales.

it is imperative that we have a strong digital platform, e-commerce store and social media presence. We are looking for a marketing and media guru that can use their own graphic design techniques to build customer engagement and convert sales. Our online marketing needs someone that can manage and take hold of our online platforms, paid advertising and promotion of products. We need someone that will implement a marketing strategy to maintain the online presence established during Covid. We also want to grow our now established online presence and loyalty programme

The position requires someone with a flair for design copy and design. The packaging of our beers will also be the sole responsibility of the successful applicant, including label design and managing the trade portal.

Your key responsibilities in Marketing

Develop and deliver a marketing strategy that focuses on achieving an increase in sales in retail, trade and online.

Overall responsibility for the corporate brand identity

Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO, email, social media and display advertising to achieve sales objectives.

Design & packaging of our products.

Manage budgets for digital channels based on campaign objectives and ROI goals.

Identify target audience and generate leads.

Manage SEO strategy and campaigns to grow and improve brand awareness.

Maintaining compliance with online industry advertising guidelines and best practices.

Implement operating systems and structures within the business to maximise marketing and sales opportunities.

Grow our loyalty programme and customer purchases.

Reach new customers and convert to retail business.

Event Planning and Promotions.

Keep abreast of current liquor and beverage trends in marketing / Search for new marketing opportunities.

Your key responsibilities in Sales

Design and implement strategic plans to reach sales targets.

Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty

Develop and promote weekly, monthly and quarterly sales objectives.

Draft detailed and accurate sales reports

Work with customers to better understand their business needs and goals.

Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices.

Estimate sales volume and profit for current and new products.

Manage our online sales channel

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you will have:

A successful track record of building marketing and sales campaigns that are ROI positive.

Excellent writing skills and an eye for creative

Excellent communication skills

Demonstrated capability to make sales and marketing decisions and apply sound judgement

Highly analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret performance data and analyse campaign goals.

+5 years marketing experience within the wine, beer and beverage industry. International experience is advantageous

+5 years graphic design experience.

+5 years branding experience in beverage industry.

+5 years social media planning and content creation experience.

+5 years extensive knowledge of marketing tools and digital platforms used in alcohol industry.

+2 years sales experience in alcohol industry.

Highly adaptable to changing workloads and unexpected tasks

A friendly and approachable personality.

Demonstrable technical skills in Public Relations and Communication

Knowledge of relevant software packages: Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, Concrete5, Wordpress, Shopify.
