Job description:

About this job…

  • Provide a laboratory service to the wider business that is of a high quality standard, accurate, timely and cost effective.
  • Continuous improvement of systems.
  • Provide a technical resource to the wider business as needs arise.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Heineken Laboratory Star System (LSS)
  • Embrace and practice TPM methodology.
  • Conformance to systems and procedures in place
  • Contribute to the quality system by ensuring the maintenance of standards, procedures and systems in accordance with the wider company quality system and the Heineken Laboratory Star System.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Participate in the Company SMI by continuously contributing Safety ideas and observations and working to resolve any safety issues within your work area
  • Maintain competence in core tasks/analyses and providing training to others.

 

About you…

  • Tertiary qualification
  • Bachelor of Science essential - can be in the following areas, technology, or food technology
  • Diploma in Brewing (Preferrable)
  • 1-2 years' experience in GC/HPLC analytical experience
  • Production laboratory experience
  • Auditing knowledge (Preferrable)
  • Familiarity with TPM,Lean, 6 Sigma or other improvement philosophies (Preferable)
  • Familiarity with ISO 17025 work environment
