The Role: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant and Bar Manager to lead our dynamic team. This role requires a hands-on leader who excels in creating a welcoming atmosphere, delivering exceptional service, and managing daily operations with a focus on delivering great southern hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of our busy restaurant and bar, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
- Create and manage staff rosters, balancing operational needs with creating a supportive work environment.
- Foster a welcoming and lively atmosphere that reflects our commitment to exceptional service.
- Ensure that all staff are well-versed in their responsibilities under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team, providing guidance and support to help them thrive.
- Collaborate closely with both Kitchen and FOH staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle all aspects of daily and weekly procedures including ordering, receiving stock,
- Stay adaptable and proactive, ready to tackle any challenge that comes your way.
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
- A current General Managers Certificate.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, with a people-focused approach.
- Professional, friendly demeanour and excellent communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and time management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
- A thorough understanding of Host Responsibility policies and the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act.
- Ability to adapt quickly and handle various tasks to ensure smooth operations.
