Weekend Office Administrator (Part-Time)
Location: The Sunny Bay of Plenty, Mount Maunganui.

 

About Us
Join our close-knit team and contribute to the smooth running of our company operations including; The Rising Tide Mt & Omokoroa, Super Liquor Mt, Mount Brewing Co., Johney’s Dumpling House & Events.  We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to take on key Office Administration duties, focusing on daily banking and operational support across all of our brands.

 

The Role
This is a part-time weekend role with approximately 10 hours across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings. There is room for progression for the right candidate.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Handling daily banking, including balancing and processing day sheets.
  • Preparing day floats and balancing them for Rising Tide Mt, Omokoroa, and Super Liquor Mt.
  • Reconciling event EFTPOS and cash sales.
  • Organising and depositing daily banking collections.
  • Uploading financial reports and figures into Xero and Excel.
  • Managing and balancing held change to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Covering Super Liquor staff during lunch breaks.
  • Reconciling EFTPOS payments, bank deposits, and direct credits.
  • Handling phone enquiries.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Honesty, reliability, and strong organisational skills.
  • Experience with financial balancing and administration.
  • Proficiency in Xero and Excel is highly desirable.
  • The ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • A valid Manager’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain) is a bonus.
