Duty Manager – Cassels and Sons Brewery Limited

About the role

Cassels is seeking an experienced and reliable Duty Manager to join their team. This role requires strong leadership, a passion for customer service, and experience in a busy restaurant and event setting. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, a current Duty Manager license, a solid understanding of craft beer, and the ability to manage restaurant service efficiently. A key part of the role is leading a team, ensuring high standards, and working under pressure, especially on weekends and nights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
  • Lead and manage the team effectively.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer needs, including intoxication situations.
  • Maintain high standards of food and beverage service.
  • Provide support during busy restaurant services, ensuring smooth operations.

Desired Skills and Attributes:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Current Duty Manager license.
  • Strong understanding of craft beer and restaurant service.
  • Experience leading a team and working under pressure.
  • Coffee-making skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, honesty, reliability, and attention to detail.
