Panhead’s Bar and Tasting Room is the brewery’s own beer and food shrine, featuring sixteen taps, a 600-Litre pilot brewery and Panhead’s Custom Kitchen.

You’ll find all the old favourites fresh from the brewery along with a whole lot of special brews cooked up in the shiny vats adorning the back wall.

As Panhead’s Tasting Room Assistant Venue Manager you will be responsible for maintaining the awesome vibe at the Tasting Room to the utmost of your abilities and responsibilities. You would’ve done this sort of thing before.

You will be fair, honest, professional and you don’t play favourites. You will be flexible enough to cope with the crazy stuff that goes on around here and you will be willing to pitch in when needed, even if the hours get a little weird on the odd occasion.

You will be happy to be accountable and take responsibility for the good name of Panhead.

As the Assistant Venue Manager, you will be responsible for?

  • Determining staff needs and rostering appropriately
  • Stock Management, including ordering, levels, receipting, storage, stock take, rotation and display
  • Compliance with Panheads Host Responsibilities Policy, including the Sale of Liquor Act, and all site-specific policies and procedures
  • Promote and practice compliance with all health, safety and hygiene standards and regulations Our ideal candidate will have:
  • A current Duty Managers and LCQ Certification
  • Experience in the management of a bar / restaurant or beverage service operation
  • Outstanding customer service and people skills
  • Availability to work from Wednesday – Sunday
