Join our team as a part-time Brewer and bring your passion for craft beer to life, supporting all aspects of brewing while learning, creating, and sharing exceptional beers with our guests and community. Successful applicants will have at least one year of experience in a similar role. The pay rate for the position will be assessed on the experience and qualifications of each applicant. The wage bracket for this position is between $28.00 – $34.00 per hour.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Support the Head Brewer with all aspects of the brewery process, including keg washing, milling, brewing, quality testing and canning. Training in the brewing can be provided for the right candidate.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, and health & safety, and adhere to internal SOPs.
- Assist in stock control.
- Show a strong passion for all things craft beer and build a rapport with our guests, off-site purchasers and distributors.
- Develop strategies to grow our onsite and offset consumers.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends in craft beer and assisting with the design and marketing.
- Frequent heavy, manual lifting required.
- Deliver beer for local orders on the island. Must hold a manual driving licence and be willing to obtain a forklift licence.
