Brewing Scheduler (13-month fixed term contract)

 

Location: Ōtāhuhu, Auckland, New Zealand

Function: Supply Chain

Type of Contract: Full-time Fixed-Term Contract from Dec 2025 – Jan 2027

 

 

As our Brewing Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining short- to medium-term brewing and filtration schedules at both Waitemata and Timaru breweries, ensuring alignment with production and demand plans. You’ll play a key role in maintaining beer supply and service levels, optimising batch capacity in line with the HEINEKEN Brewery Capacity Model and supporting inventory planning to balance service levels with working capital targets. The role involves close coordination across brewing, packaging, and planning teams, proactive risk management, and driving continuous improvement in scheduling processes and performance reporting.

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Develops and maintains brewery-specific production schedules, aligning with capacity, shift patterns, and cross-functional planning needs, while adapting quickly to short-term disruptions.
  • Supports weekly Demand & Supply Reviews, proactively managing risks, updating planning parameters, and driving continuous improvement through TPM initiatives.
  • Provides accurate brewing and filtration performance data, ensures clear communication across key teams, and contributes to optimising batch capacity and service levels.

 

 

What you will bring with you:

 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain planning, scheduling (brewing/packaging), or related projects.
  • Skilled in SAP ERP/APO, FuturMaster, and supply planning tools, with strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
  • Confident communicator, able to clearly present data and collaborate across teams.
  • Quick to learn, adaptable, and takes initiative to deliver results.
  • Good understanding of brewing and packaging processes, able to work independently and as part of a team.
