Dispatch & Delivery – Mount Brewing Co

Job Description

We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our products reach customers efficiently while maintaining strong relationships with stockists and local customers.

Please note, this is a fixed-term position to cover Leave.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • You’ll be responsible for all local deliveries for BOP Brewery Ltd.. This entails delivering products locally, customers and direct consumers, ensuring timely dispatch and satisfaction.
  • Represent the company brand by acting as an ambassador for Mount Brewing Co., upholding our values and providing exceptional service to customers.
  • Pick, Pack and Dispatch daily orders, coordinating with customers and freight companies to ensure prompt, well-handled deliveries.
  • Ensure all local orders accurately and securely reach the correct recipients, with signed proof of delivery for each transaction.
  • Be in charge of Chiller Maintenance, by keeping the chiller clean, organised, and well-maintained to uphold product quality and ease of access.
  • Ensure company vehicles are well maintained, clean, refuelled & any issues reported promptly.
  • Ensure the Rising Tide keg line is well maintained and stocked at all times.
  • Support the wider Mount Brewing Co. team with brewery operations such as working on the canning line, transferring kegs, or other duties as required.
  • You will work well as a team, directly reporting to the Sales Team & working alongside them with Events, & any customer &/or stockist queries.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines with handling, packing, & delivery products, in particular lifting heavy items such as kegs.
  • Keep paperwork & reports up to date, accurate, & consistent with both internal and external stake holders.. Report any issues to Management.

Ideal Candidate: 

  • Hold a full valid New Zealand Drivers License and being able to drive a Manual Vehicle is advantageous.
  • Experience using a Forklift or a desire to learn – a Forklift License is advantageous.
  • Customer Service Experience & or Sales Experience is preferred but not required.
  • Be Physically fit & able to lift heavy objects safely.
  • Be able to work as part of a team and be able to self manage.
  • Time management and ability to communicate effectively is a must.
  • Local area knowledge advantageous
