Duty Manager – Eddyline Pizzeria & Brewpub

Full Time (30+ hours) or Part Time if preferred Calling all Duty Managers, Restaurant Managers and Leaders ready for a change! We’re on the hunt for someone to help lead our team to crank out incredible pizza and offer the best service in town! This is a highly interactive and hands-on role. Are you ready to lead a Front of House team (up to 5 servers) support a Kitchen team (up to 5 cooks) during your shifts? Oversight of all day-to-day restaurant operations. Most of your time will be spent front-of-house engaging customers and supporting and developing staff, but you will also be comfortable supervising workflow and output in the kitchen and lending a hand as needed. Ensuring customers have an excellent experience. Actively seeking out potential issues and resolutions with guests and staff. Training, developing, and supporting staff to work and succeed together. Holding staff accountable to always achieve the standards for food and service that we lay out Be an Eddyline brand ambassador. You will be passionate and knowledgeable about our range of craft beer and happy to talk with staff and customers about them. Monitoring the safe and responsible sale and service of alcohol. Sharing regular shift reports with the owners. We value our system of daily communication which helps us quickly identify and resolve issues, provides support, and ensures consistency. To be successful in this role you must: Hold a current Duty Manager’s license or have a willingness and ability to quickly obtain one. Have a passion for hospitality Have excellent communication skills. Be comfortable with following and giving instruction and feedback. Demonstrate a minimum of 6 months of related work experience (in any industry) and enjoy engaging with people. Have qualities that help you inspire the team to work and achieve together and earn their respect for you as a leader Be motivated by offering great service, leading by example, and pouring pints of incredible beer every day.

This position is responsible for all customers and staff and reports directly to the owner. Eddyline Pizzeria & Brewpub is located in Richmond. The starting pay for this position is $27/hour-$30/hour depending on experience.
