Merchandiser – Hamilton

Your Impact
As a Merchandiser based in Hamilton, you will play a key role in bringing Asahi Beverages’ portfolio to life in store. You’ll ensure our products are available, well-presented, and executed to the highest standards across your allocated customer base, supporting strong relationships at store level.
This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the trade, takes pride in execution, and can work independently while staying closely connected to the wider sales team.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure all ABNZ ranged products are stocked, rotated, and merchandised in line with store ranging requirements, promotions, and planograms
- Merchandise fridges, chillers, relays, and floor displays to agreed standards, ensuring correct pricing and promotional material is in place
- Complete stock fills and on-shelf execution to ensure products are visible, shoppable, and compliant
- Execute promotional activity, sales communications, and new product launches in store
- Maintain strong working relationships with store managers and key in-store contacts
- Provide feedback on execution, availability, and any store-level issues
- Work collaboratively with Area Sales Managers and other Merchandisers to support territory execution
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental standards while working in store
Working Pattern
This role is 25 hours per week, offering consistent and reliable hours.
- Shifts are typically spread across the week and aligned to store delivery schedules
- Start and finish times can be discussed to suit both business needs and candidate availability
- Ideal for someone seeking part-time work with stability and structure
About You
- Previous merchandising or FMCG customer service experience is advantageous but not essential
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
- Well organised with strong time management and planning skills
- Customer-focused with a professional and reliable approach
- Physically capable of manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving stock
- Confident engaging with store teams and representing a leading beverage portfolio
- Hold a current driver’s licence and full working rights in New Zealand
