Mount Brewing Co. has been crafting award-winning beers since 1996, making us one of New Zealand’s original craft breweries. With strong momentum and a loyal following, we’re growing our presence outside the Bay of Plenty fast – and now we’re looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to take our brand to new heights across the Central and Upper North Island.
As our Sales Representative, you’ll be the face of Mount Brewing Co. in some of the country’s top bars, restaurants, retail stores and supermarkets. This is a hands-on sales role focused on managing and growing our footprint across the Auckland, Waikato, Coromandel, Taranaki, and Northland regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the organisation’s sales strategy with a defined territory.
- Maintain existing customers and develop new customers through exceptional customer service.
- Actively drive product sales through the on and off premise and grocery channels.
- Identity and secure new business opportunities across your territory.
- Develop and manage a range of promotions, events product releases including ‘tap takeovers’, meet the brewer and in store tastings.
- Develop and maintain a strong customer base though an active and strategic call cycle. Including a minimum of five nights away per month for regional visits.
- Complete regular reporting on activities and ensure CRM tool is always accurate and complete.
- Represent the organisation’s brand, culture and values to its customers.
Experience
- 3+ years in a sales environment in food manufacturing and grocery sectors. Beer/spirit or wine preferred.
- Proficiency in financial management.
- Strong Communication Skills and a talent for building lasting relationships
- A genuine passion for craft beer and in the industry as a whole
Education
- Full NZ Driver Licences
- Duty Managers Certificate (advantageous)
