Restaurant Manager – The Fancy Cow

The Fancy Cow is seeking a Restaurant Manager to join the team. This is a hands-on role that involves overseeing day-to-day operations, training and upskilling staff members, maintaining high food and beverage standards and most importantly ensuring our guests have a lovely experience. The Fancy Cow consists of a restaurant, cellar door and taproom. Part time or full time hours available. Must be available for evenings and weekends.

 

About the role:

• Oversee restaurant operations and ensure a smooth flow
• Maintain a positive restaurant culture
• Supervise front of house staff and continually improve on service
• Train new employees to help them reach restaurant standards
• Interact with diners and ensure every diner has a positive experience
• Organise and take stock of restaurant supplies
• Report daily to venue manager

 

About you:

  • Proven work experience in a restaurant setting
  • Genuine passion for hospitality
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Competent coffee making and bar tending skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Clear attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of current food and beverage trends
  • Can do attitude with ability to ‘go with the flow’
  • Current Duty Managers Certificate
