We’re Canyon Brewing. Rooted in adventure, sustainability, and a good sense of humour, we’re here to make high quality craft beer that speaks for itself. Juicy hazy’s, crisp pilsners, and whack experimental brews, all made with creativity, curiosity, and a deep respect for the land that fuels it.
We started in 2020 under the Edith Cavell bridge in Arthurs Point, brewing riverside on a tiny kit with one clear idea to make bold beer and have some fun doing it. Fast-forward and we’re now a two-site operation, with small batch brews still flowing in Queenstown and our commercial brewery running out of Robrosa Station in the Cardrona Valley, pouring into bars, supermarkets, and hands across Aotearoa.
Our home base is Queenstown, that’s where the brewery heart beats, but this role is focused on growing our presence in the North Island.

Enough about us, here’s a bit about your new role.
We’re on the hunt for an Auckland-based Sales Representative to continue to grow our North Island presence. You’ll be building strong relationships and driving growth away from our Queenstown HQ.
You won’t be doing it alone though; you’ll be working alongside another Auckland-based sales rep and supported by the wider sales and brewery team. While your day-to-day will be largely independent, you’ll stay closely connected with the crew.
This role will require regular travel across the North Island to visit customers, build new relationships, and represent Canyon Brewing properly wherever you show up. You’ll also head down to Queenstown throughout the year for training, planning sessions, and to stay connected with the wider team and brewery operations.
Your day will involve:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to grow sales and keep service standards high.
- Chasing down new business opportunities and helping shape smart ways to grow our reach across the North Island.
- Knowing our beers inside out and representing Canyon Brewing with confidence and credibility.
- Managing your territory alongside another Auckland-based rep – coordinating travel, customer visits, and sales activity effectively while taking ownership of your accounts and results.
- Keeping the wheels turning with order management, stock control, and delivery coordination.
- Completing the admin that keeps sales humming (reporting, order tracking, sales documentation).
You will bring:
- Strong sales, negotiation and people skills, with the ability to build trust fast and keep relationships solid.
- A practical, self-motivated, results-driven approach and the ability to stay calm and professional when it’s go-time.
- Clear communication, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise and juggle multiple accounts.
- Friendly, professional, punctual and well-presented.
- A full clean driver’s licence.
- A genuine passion for craft beer and hospitality.
