Territory Manager – Good George Hospitality Group

About you

As the Territory Manager Auckland, your role will be to oversee and cultivate the relationships with Good George’s customers in your region (both current and new). This will include managing connections with various retail channels such as traditional liquor stores, FMCG grocery retailers, distributors, and on-premises establishments.


Key responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Oversee and enhance relationships with key on-premises customers, including the Good George Home-bar group, to maximize sales and brand awareness.
  • Sales Management: Handle the complete sales cycle for Good George customers in your area, from fielding sales inquiries to closing deals.
  • Customer Base Development: Strengthen the customer base with regular communication and business development efforts.
  • Brand Distribution Expansion: Grow the presence of Good George brands across various channels, aligning with strategic company goals.
  • Brand Ambassador: Be the “Face” of the Good George brand in the marketplace including conducting staff training and tastings.


  • Passion for craft beer, cider and the industry.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales and hospitality, (FMCG experience preferred but not essential).
  • Account or category management experience (desirable).
  • Demonstrate ability to deliver consistent and excellent results across all tasks.
  • Proven ability to build liquor and/or industry specific relationships with customers, consumers, internal team members, service providers and suppliers.
  • Strong and well-tested financial acumen and decision-making.
  • Self-motivation – this position requires a high level of independence.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.


  • Base salary + KPI incentive.
  • Company vehicle.

This role is based in Auckland, covering Central and North regions. Overnight travel may be required.
