About this job...
As the Waitemata Quality Manager, you will lead the Waitemata Quality Team and drive the Waitemata Brewery’s quality culture and behaviours, while maintaining alignment with Heineken Global standards, to ensure safe and quality products are manufactured from the Supplier to the Customers’ glass.

You will deliver the goods by:
• Lead a team of highly skilled and engaged specialists
• Ensure compliance with the NZ & Heineken Food Safety standards
• Be the subject matter expert for internal and external food safety audits
• Monitor and analyse customer complaints relating to quality
• Managing the annual quality budget including the capital requirements for equipment
• Ensure delivery of key quality metrics and performance standards

 

About you…
• You will ideally have a Tertiary Education degree in Science, Technology and/or Quality Assurance.
• 5 years practical experience in either, production, manufacturing and/or supply chain.
• Experience with food safety systems and quality management systems are essential.
• Experienced people leader with a growth mindset
• Knowledge of ISO/HACCP/FSSC22000 and best practice auditing
• SAP Experience is advantageous but not essential
• Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies – at DB, we use TPM
