Fortune Favours, a vibrant brewpub in the heart of Wellington’s CBD, is on the hunt for a Full-Time Duty Manager to join us for a minimum of 30 hours per week. We’re open seven days a week and pride ourselves on our exceptional beer selection alongside a curated range of New Zealand gins and wines, ensuring a unique experience for all our guests. Plus, we’re a dog-friendly venue, welcoming both our human and canine patrons!
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and ensure a seamless experience for all guests.
- Foster a positive atmosphere by motivating and supporting your team.
- Identify growth opportunities for the venue and individual team members.
- Adapt to the fast-paced environment, managing both slower and busier days with ease.
- Work alongside the brewery team to promote our delicious brews made in house and provide assistance if needed
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid Duty Manager’s Certificate (or the ability to obtain one).
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
- A genuine passion for craft beer and the hospitality sector.
- A team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and embodies a positive attitude.
