As a Warehouse Assistant and Local Delivery Driver, you’ll be hands-on in our warehouse preparing orders and completing daily deliveries and pick-ups across the Waikato in our Class 2 truck. Most deliveries will be kegs and pallet orders to our customers, but from time to time you may also transport event or venue equipment. This is a varied role with plenty of customer interaction, so if you’re organised, enjoy physical work, and like a mix of warehouse and on-the-road duties, we’d love to hear from you.

The Opportunity
As a Warehouse Assistant and Local Delivery Driver at Good George Brewing, you’ll be based in Hamilton, splitting your time between preparing orders in the warehouse and making daily Class 2 deliveries of kegs and pallets across the Waikato. You’ll help keep our products flowing and our customers smiling.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage day-to-day warehouse tasks, including receiving and dispatching goods, stock control, and order preparation.
- Pick, pack, and load orders for daily deliveries.
- Load and unload the Good George delivery truck and other freight trucks as required.
- Keep the Class 2 delivery truck and other fleet vehicles in good condition, ensuring all checks and maintenance are up to date.
- Follow warehouse systems and processes to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Safely handle products and materials, including hazardous goods, kegs, and packaged products.
- Support the team with additional delivery or warehouse tasks as required.
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and compliant warehouse environment at all times.
- Represent the Good George brand professionally during deliveries and provide friendly, customer-focused service.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a warehouse or store person role
- Proven experience with delivery driving
- Must have a current Class 2 full driver’s licence
- Must have a current forklift licence with (F endorsement preferred).
- Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and moving kegs over 25kgs
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Friendly and professional communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
