Situated in a big venue that is particularly lively during the summer months, The Island offers a unique and exciting environment for both staff and customers. The Senior Bartender will play a key role in managing a young team and ensuring exceptional service at the bar.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, including preparing and serving a variety of beverages, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of young bartenders and bar staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Interact with customers in a friendly and engaging manner, offering recommendations and ensuring a memorable dining experience
- Assist in training new staff members and implementing standard operating procedures
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards to uphold the reputation of The Island Restaurant
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, particularly during peak seasons
- Duty Manager Certification is a plus but no must
