Details of the 2024 Brewers Guild of New Zealand AGM are below.

Location: 16TUN (Jellicoe Street, Auckland) & Via ZOOM

 

Please RSVP for the AGM by emailing jo@brewersguild.org.nz before 30 July.  We are providing breakfast and beverages for those joining us in person.

If you would like to join by Zoom you also need to register by emailing jo@brewersguild.org.nz so we can send you the link.

Voting 

There will be a vote on the motion to adopt the new constitution as per the Incorporated Societies Act 2022.  The motion can be found above.  Voting on the motion will take place via ELECTION BUDDY. Voting will open at miday on 31 July and close at 5pm 2 August.  You will be emailed the link to vote on 31 July.

As there were the same number of nominees as there are positions on the board there will be no election required for the BGNZ Board.

Motions

There is one Motion to be voted on at the 2024 AGM.  The board proposes the adoption of an updated constitution to meet the requirements of the Incorporated Societie Act 2022. Lane Neave was appointed to review and update our constitution to meet the new requirements.  The new constitution can be viewed HERE

You will be asked to vote on adopting the new constitution via electronic voting.  

Call for Nominations

Nominations for the Board of Directors open on 22 June. Any Brewery member can be nominated.

To nominate for the Board please complete this BOARD NOMINATION FORM. As part of your nomination you will be asked to provide a short biography, a photo, your reason for wanting to join the Board of the Brewers Guild of New Zealand, as well as the details of a Nominator and Seconder who are both from organisations that are paid up members of the Guild.
